Paris

There is no place in the world quite like it; blooming with love in every corner, this couples paradise is both romantic and poetic. Paris, the City of Love and Lights, has an air of elegance, culture and charm. The 777-kilometre-long Seine River that crosses through the city is usually filled with lovers smooching and cuddling and friends talking, laughing, eating and drinking. The streets are lined with cozy bistros with tiny round tables, Parisians strolling the streets speaking the sweet French language and vendors selling antique books and posters.

Paris is one of the largest cities in Europe, known for its museums and architectural landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum and the Moulin Rouge. Paris is the Captial of Fashion as it is home to the world’s finest and most luxurious fashion designers and cosmetics like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Guerlain, Lacôme, L’Oréal, Clarins and more. The city has the second highest number of Michelin restaurants in the world, after Tokyo, and is the most popular tourist destination with 45 million visitors a year. A large part of the city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, making Paris a historical and record-breaking city.

Paris is a beautiful and romantic city, brimming with history, culture, art, fashion and food. It is definitely a City of Dreams and one of my favourite cities that I have visited.
